Rose has a ‘happy go lucky’ kind of personality. She is calm, yet inquisitive and gentle by nature. She adores her humans and loves to be snuggled.  She enjoys being around other dogs, big or small, yet she is content playing by herself as well.  She likes retrieving & scent games; however, I consider her to be of low to moderate drive. 

Rose is so calm in the house we often times forget she is even around as she is so mild mannered and quiet. She generally just rolls with the flow and sees life through her “Rose colored glasses”. 😉    

Rose spent most of her early years as an outdoor kennel dog and from what we know, received little to no training. Rose joined our family in August 2021, at 26 months of age. At that time, the only thing she knew was her name. After settling into her new surroundings, it was obvious to us how much potential Rose had. Her eagerness and willingness to learn has made training a breeze. 

Rose is 54 pounds and absolutely gorgeous.   Her lineage is mostly field lines, however her GSire (Blaze) is English field lines, making her 7/8 American-1/8 English lines.  She has a lovely blocky head, nice chest, and athletic body.  Her build is typical of a lab from the 1950's era, which I love. 

Rose has earned the AKC Farm Dog, Canine Good Citizen, Trick Dog, Virtual Home Manners & Scent Work titles.

The majority of Roses’ pups are currently training or serving as Service & Therapy dogs. Other pups are living their best lives with their humans as hunting partners and/or companions.
