Both our 'upcoming' litters (Moose x Glory / Thorin x Lady) are spoken for.
To be considered for future litters, you MUST have an application on file with us.
Next litters planned for Winter 2025.
Moose is the kind of labrador that when you first meet him you secretly wish he was yours. He has a heart of gold, an amazing temperament, adjusts easily to any situation or environment, loves people of all sizes, and is just an all-around good boy.
From birth, his breeder knew Moose was something special. Always first to the door, first to catch onto new skills, first to get a birdie. He interacted well with his littermates, yet he would separate himself when he wanted alone time. Moose was the perfect match for his owner, a retired Army veteran looking for a service dog prospect & partner in crime.
Having Moose has not only assisted his Veteran in everyday challenges, he’s introduced him to the world of bird dogging. Whether it’s flushing a pheasant, sitting patiently in a duck blind, retrieving on both land and water, Moose is all in. He loves to work and be challenged. Regardless if it’s fast paced, assisting his Veteran, playing with kids, relaxing at home; Moose will do anything his person askes of him.
This boy not only has that sought after on-on / off-off switch; but anything in-between. At 75 pounds, Mooses versatility truly makes him an all-purpose Labrador Retriever who is loved by all who meet him.
Moose’s favorite activities include hunting, UTVing (it is his, not his humans), Dock Diving, FastCAT, swimming, scent games, and irritating his little human friends by being persistent with a ball. His favorite pastime is just being with his human; whether its sitting next to him on a bar stool or chasing down birds, Moose always fits in with his surroundings.

This will be Moose’s first breeding and we are honored to be using him in our program.
Moose is owned by Chad Brownell.
Bred by Krautkramer Kennels.
This will be both Glory & Moose's first litter. This breeding is American field lines and we expect these puppies to have lots of drive & stamina to go the distance when working. Tons of natural talent with great trainability, amazing focus, exceptional on/off switches, sweet & gentle temperaments; truly all-around multi-purpose Labrador Retrievers. Eager to work, yet happy to just lounge around in the home.
We plan to place a few puppies from this litter with non-profit Service Dog training programs. Once they have successfully passed their training programs, each pup will be paired with a Veteran, First Responder, &/or victims of crime who suffer from PTSD.
In addition to service dog candidates, these puppies would make great hunt, scent, sporting, and obedience dogs, as well as loving family companions.
27 Breed relevant labrador retriever genetic conditions screened for. Plus, an additional 243 genetic conditions,
traits, & haplotypes tested.
Thorin is an athletic, 85-pound, chocolate Labrador Retriever with gorgeous conformation, incredible drive, and natural hunt instinct. Thorin excels in both the duck blind and in the upland field. If Thorin could talk, I’m sure he would tell you that finding birds is his absolute favorite thing to do.
He once sniffed out and picked up a friends lost cell phone on state game lands; talk about a ‘needle in a haystack’!
Thorin stands out too many as he works WITH his handler, focused and purposeful. In his free time, Thorin enjoys thinking about retrieving ducks while he watches them out the window, lounging around on a comfy bed, or going to local community functions so he can get pets from hundreds of people. His favorite treats are raw marrow bones or crunchy dog biscuits.
As a puppy, not only was Thorin impressive in looks; he was bold, confident, friendly, focused, and shined at every new opportunity. His owner knew early on that Thorin would be one of her greatest victories. 100% Breeder/Owner/Handled to all titles.
Thorin passes on his wonderful traits to his puppies who are now serving as Mental Health Service Dogs, Diabetic Alert Dogs, Canine Advocates comforting victims of domestic violence & other crimes, supporting emergency personal such as firefighters & EMS. Puppies are competing in Hunt Tests, Obedience, Rally, and Agility, as well as a few couch potatoes; all who are loved family companions.
In his owners’ words:
“Thorin has proven to be an absolute dream dog; truly a dog of a lifetime.”
To quote his namesake, Thorin Oakenshield:
"Loyalty. Honor. A willing heart. I can ask no more than that."
Thorin is owned by Cheri Herschell of Rebellion Labradors, Zelienople, PA.
Repeat Breeding!
We LOVE the feedback we are getting from Patriot K9s of WI on the service dog puppies from Thorin & Lady's 1st litter, born April 2023. It was an easy decision to do a repeat breeding.
1/2 English Show lines, 1/4 American field bred, & 1/4 British lines.
Once again, we intend to place puppies from this litter with non-profit Service Dog training programs. After the pups have successfully passed their training programs, each pup will be paired with a Veteran, First Responder, &/or victims of crime who suffer from PTSD.
With proper training, these puppies are ideal candidates for service work, therapy, obedience, sporting, hunt, as well as great family companions.
