Everyone that meets Martin instantly falls in love with his soft heart, kind eyes, and absolutely amazing temperament.
Martins’ human family acquired him as a puppy for their then 6-year-old son, Logan. Since this time, Logan has been Martin’s primary trainer and handler. Together, they show and compete in various American Kennel Club (AKC) & United Kennel Club (UKC) events.
Martin is extremely talented and versatile. Not only is he handsome, Martin is focused, a quick learner, and loves to work and be challenged. He gives 100% when asked, yet equally loves to relax at home.
Martin, and now 10-year-old Logan, have been best friends from day one. Whether it’s in the show ring, running a sporting event, relaxing at home, or sleeping together at night; these two share a bond that is unbreakable. After Martin ensures his boy, Logan, safely gets on the school bus, you can find him carrying around a ‘stuffy’ at home, helping mom with chores, playing with the other dogs, or just lounging around taking naps.
Martin and Logan are a certified therapy team as well. Martin will often visit the local school and participle in small group sessions to help improve the learning environment by providing comfort and affection to young children.
Martin & Logan have proven to be an amazing team as evidenced by the many titles achieved in Obedience, Rally, Agility, Barn Hunt, FastCAT, Confirmation, and Dock Diving. It doesn’t end there though; Martin and Logan are currently training on hunting skills with aspirations to get their Junior Hunt title in the Spring.
In 2022 Martin made the top 10 for UKC Labrador Retrievers.
Team Martin has been to the AKC Dock Diving Nationals and placed 8th in distance and 3rd in Juniors. They also placed 4th in UKC Junior for Obedience.
In December 2023, Team Martin qualified and was invited to the National UKC Total Dog Invitational, an all-breed competition, in Kentucky. Martin and Logan placed 5th, out of 120 teams. This was the first time in history a youth has ever placed in this competition. Such an amazing accomplishment for this young team.
Martin is the total package!
This will be Martins first time used for breeding and I’m honored to be using him in our program.
Martin is owned by Logan & Jason Kressin.
Bred by Hoffmann's Labradors, Racine, WI
This pairing will be 1/2 English/bench and 1/2 American/field bred litter. The best of both worlds.
Several puppies from this litter will be placed with non-profit Service Dog training programs for future placement with a Veteran, First Responder, &/or victims of crime who suffer from PTSD.
In addition to service dog canidates, these puppies would make great therapy, obediance, sporting, scent, and hunt dogs, as well as loving family companions.
Saint is a Fox Red Labrador Retriever imported in 2016 from Rubywood Labs of Latvia. His lovely conformation and flawless movement make him a natural in the show ring. Saint recently earned his Grand Champion Bronze title in October 2023. To obtain the AKC Bronze champion, a dog must achieve 100 Grand Champion points — four times the 25 needed for a “regular Grand”. Saint is the 1st Fox Red Labrador to ever receive this prestigious award.
A fitting name, Saint exemplifies excellence, kindness, patience, and incredible loyalty. Saint is a charming old soul who possesses a deep understanding of what’s going on around him and acts appropriately, no matter the situation he is in. He is exceptionally calm and tolerant. Anyone who has met Saint compliments on how well behaved and delightful he is to be around.
Saint's demeanor is passed on and prevalent in his offspring. His pups & grand pups have successfully gone on to be service & therapy dogs, family hunt partners, shed hunters, obedience and sporting dogs, as well as loved family companions.
